12 June 2009 Arriving in Cape Town in early '09, I quickly began to search for a suitable studio and it was The Valve and Wizard that jumped out at me from the internet search. I immediately called the studio and spoke to Derek at length about my aims. I knew straight away that it was the exact set up I was after and he was very much on my wavelength. He suggested I listen to the recordings of Jia who had recently finished their album at the studio. I loved what I heard.
