He was a member of Omega Ltd as well as the band Zia, who opened for the Bee Gees in 1989 at the Sport Palace in Paris. Reg plays bass in Joe Recrosia's band.
Joe Recrosia
Guitars
Joe's lifelong passion for guitar work has led to an extreme range of ability in this field and he has been know to play, amongst others, electric and acoustic guitars, pedal steel guitars, dobro, electric slide and string bender guitars, baritone guitars, classic and hawaiian guitars and even the seldom seen electric sitar. His range of styles is equally impressive; everything from rock and pop, jazz, country and reggae through to afrikaans traditional music, latin, cajun and zadeco. At present Joe is involved in the creation, direction and production of hit music shows in and around Cape Town.
Denver Furness
Drums
Best Rock Drummer S.A. 2003 & 2004, Denver has played for Paul Simon, Chris De Burgh and Dionne Warwick. He is also proficient in Jazz and Latin Styles.
Barry van Zyl
Drums and Percussion
Barry started playing drums as a 10 year old as accompanist to his piano playing dad. Since then, he graduated from the Musicians Institute of Technology, Hollywood, California with an honours in performance. He has lectured in the music departments of Cape Town University, Wits University JHB, and Pretoria Technikon.
During the late nineties while touring Europe with artists such as Oliver Mtukudzi and the Soweto String Quartet, he was offered the drum chair in Johnny Clegg's group. Barry has been a member of Johnny's band since 1999, touring extensively in Europe, North America, Australasia and the UK.
Gordon Mackay
Keyboard, Fiddle and Backing Vocals
Gordon began his musical career at the age of five with classical tuition on the Violin and Piano. Whilst performing with various Youth Orchestras, and later the Port Elizabeth Municipal Orchestra, he also formed his own school band. Competing in the local talent competition the “On The Go Show”, he was awarded first prize for Best Keyboard Instrumentalist.
He has performed with numerous bands extensively throughout South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Botswana. His musical experience has included Jazz, Rock, Country Rock, Pop, Commercial, Comedy Show Bands, backing local and International cabaret stars as well as SABC Radio & Television session work.
He has been performing solo for the last fourteen years, working for the Protea Hotel Group and the Sun International Hotel circuit, including a year's contract at Sun City.
Since settling in Cape Town, he has entertained at numerous venues including, The Mount Nelson Hotel, Fancourt Golf Estate & The 12 Apostles Hotel.
For two years he also worked with well known Cape Town band "Late Final".
He plays keyboards, electric violin and acoustic guitar.
